Our journey
Our story begins in the early 1950s with Eleni and Konstantinos Bousmalis. A small pastry shop marked the very first step — a step that soon evolved into a workshop producing handcrafted phyllo and kataifi. This was the foundation upon which everything we are today was built. Guided by the same love for tradition, their son Dimitris embraced the family’s craft and knowledge and began to envision something even greater: a fully integrated production unit capable of creating exceptional products with consistency and uncompromising quality.

The beginning
1970
In the 1970s, the decisive step was taken with the leasing of a production space in Diavato, Imathia. There, the vision began to take shape. With specialized engineers by his side, he became one of the first in Greece to design and build phyllo and kataifi production machines, opening a new path for the industry.
In the 1990s, as the company experienced rapid growth, it moved into its own privately owned facilities in Veria. There, the systematic development of expertise in puff pastry began, enriching the production range and further elevating the quality of the products.

Today, as the third generation, we proudly walk the path our grandfather carved. We embrace his vision with the same passion, the same dedication, and the same deep faith in raw materials, flavor, and authenticity. Our mission is to craft products of the highest standards, to continuously evolve our production processes, and to build lasting partnerships founded on quality, consistency, and mutual respect.
